It has a unique adhesive that resists the oils in vinyl and is airtight, watertight, elastic and conforms to curves and contours. It works on all dry vinyl and you can even apply it underwater to smooth non-textured vinyl surfaces. It stretches and springs back absorbing the force that causes ordinary repair products to be torn off.
