The hand forged steel is made of High Carbon SC Steel (mono steel) and the handle is made of high grade Japanese oak wood. This hand axe is supplied in a leather case which has a belt loop to carry it on your waist and an O-ring to hanger. The handle includes a lanyard hole and lanyard.
