 6m Longwire Shortwave & FM Antenna The 6m Longwire Antenna is designed for use with shorwave radios with a standard 3.5mm antenna connection. This small and portable antenna can increase the signal of FM and Shortwave reception considerably when compared to the built-in telescopic antenna on most radios. Particularly useful for use indoors such as in apartment blocks or locations that have high levels of background interference (such as plasma TVs and fluorescent lights) as the wire can be hung out a window, a balcony or up into a tree, allowing you to receive your favourite FM and SW radio stations. It’s supplied on a spool so you can easily and quickly pack it away while travelling and includes a clip on the end to easily set it up when using your radio.  The antenna comes on bobbin for easy storage when not in use and is fitted with a 3.5mm mono phone plug on one end (to facilitate connection to the “Ext Ant” socket on most portables) and a clip at the other, so it can be hung from an elevated point, for best performance.
